Our guesthouse offers insights into the daily life of Thai people from a viewpoint you would never experience when staying in a hotel or tourist areas. Although located in central Bangkok, there is still the charm of a real Thai atmosphere without overcrowded tourist places or expensive restaurants. The Bangkok Homey Guesthouse gives you easy access to all the major tourist spots in Bangkok, as well as the rapid skytrain system - but in a quiet neighborhood where you can relax from a busy day out in bustling Bangkok.
Our guesthouse is an authentic Thai-style private town house, located in the middle of a Thai residential area with temples and klongs sourrounding the area. The ambience therefore is very different from the busy business areas (Sukhumvit, Silom) or tourist places like Kao San Road. With us you can experience a unique Thai atmosphere, see Bangkok resident's way of life, and relax in your private room or the common rooms of our guesthouse.
Major tourist hotspots, shopping malls and entertainment areas are all easily accessible via Bangkok's modern and easy to use Sky Train (BTS) system. The distance from the Bangkok Homey Guesthouse to Victory Monument (with shopping malls, internet cafés, restaurants, cinema, steak houses, thai markets etc.) is only 3.7km away. From there the sky train takes you to the city center within 5-10 minutes.
From Suvarnabhumi International Airport, the distance is 31.9km (via Thanon Rama IX) - the airport link takes you close to Phiya Thai for 150 Baht within 15 minutes. And in another 10 minutes by taxi you'll arrive at our guesthouse. Metered taxis, trains (Airport Link + BTS, 120 Baht), Airport Express Shuttle (150 Baht) or minivans (25-30 Baht) are also available to take you into central Bangkok from the airport.

At the Bangkok Homey Guesthouse you can meet people from all over the world - if you want to, of course. We are host to many different nationalities - backpackers from Germany, students from the US and Australia, expats from basically all over the world... To put it in a nutshell, here you can share your travel experiences, seek advice and receive helpful tips for your trip and may even find friendship that will last a lifetime - all in a peaceful atmosphere.
Two 7/11 stores are within walking distance and open 24/7, providing you with groceries, beer, burgers, chips, snacks etc, several coffee houses, an internet café and Thai markets are also convenient to reach by foot (
We offer you access to the whole guesthouse - that is the common areas (rec room, kitchen, courtyard) as well as your own, private room with balcony and bathroom (optional). Clean bedsheets, pillows and towels are provided.
Feel free to have a look through our website - you can reserve rooms online or even rent the entire house upon request.
